I'm a pretty laid-back guy, but I like to do a lot. Some of my pastimes include surfing, snowboarding, playing guitar, writing, reading, watching movies, and watching people.

I recently earned my commercial pilot rating, and now am finishing a certified flight instructor rating and deciding where to finish my 4-year degree.

I backpacked through the Sangre de Christo range of the rockies when I was 16. I travelled with my Uncle and cousins, through what is known as "Bear Country". On the 10th day of hiking, also our last, my uncle woke us up. He said "Guys, a bear got your packs", since I was all-ready sitting up, I peeked out the eureka tent window and saw our packs were secure. But, meandering behind my uncle was a bear.

The most recent movies I've seen are: Rancho Delux, 400 Blows, Hombre, and numerous old-school 007 flicks.

I've been playing guitar for 6 years now, I'm not sure exactly why I started but I think it had something to do with wanting to meet more girls.

The last time I went snowboarding was quite an event. It was a snowy Sunday in Eugene, and Ryan I drove towards Willamette Pass late in the afternoon, hoping to find a hill along the way and build a kicker. We never found a good enough hill, and ended up arriving at the Pass about 8pm, well after it was closed. We hiked up the first run, and bombed down it in the dark, then headed back to Eugene.
